The Petzl Irvis Flexlock is a lightweight walking crampon that works well in scenarios such as ski-touring, travel over glaciers, and low-level mixed climbing. Its new lightweight steel construction allows a thinner frame and resultantly less weight.
With a modular design, the Irvis's front section can be replaced with the front section of any other Petzl crampon, making it extremely versatile, and more performance-based if necessary. Like all other Petzl equipment, the Irvis features fantastic quality as well as an anti-snow system that prevents the build-up of snow on the bases, the Petzl Irvis Flexlock is easily packable and ultra-compact for ease in transportation.
