The La Sportiva Mythos was first released all-the-way back in 1991 and has maintained its original design for now 30 years, and for good reason. Seldom seen is a shoe that has been at the forefront of performance climbing for such a long time, the Mythos offers pure comfort and an intelligent-design that holds up in the crazy world of new climbing shoe technology. A new version of the Mythos, the La Sportiva Mythos Eco is an eco-copy of the infamous Mythos of old, produced almost entirely from eco-friendly materials and production processes.

The Mythos Eco is prediminantly designed for comfort, with a foot friendly design that remains breathable in the hottest conditions and an upper that stretches and morphs to the shape of your foot. This shoe will have you tip-toeing up long multipitch climbs, and jamming on cracks with ease and comfort! 

It is constructed of exactly the same material as the original Mythos, except this time 95% of the materials come from recycled materials. It's sole, laces, tongue, and ribbons are all recycled, also coming from environmentally- friendly production methods including biodegradable leather, metal-free tanning, and water-based adhesives; these all add to the overall lower environmental impact.

It's hard to argue with a shoe design that's been around for three decades, the La Sportiva Mythos Eco is a classic that you'll be able to rely on when clipping your way though your most recent project, while you feel good about doing your part for the planet!
