Tendon Master - 9.4mm Complete Shield

Another product in Tendons Master Range, the Master 9.4 is light, ultra-durable, and easy to handle sport climbing rope. Thanks to Tendon’s SBS technology in the sheath, where each strand is plaited separately into the sheath construction and not in pair (tandem), the Master 9.4's sheath is more compact and therefore much smoother, creating less friction and added durability.
Classed as a single rope, the Master's Superior manageability makes it ideal for difficult sport climbing where weight and speed are key, whilst its Complete shield provides enhanced protection against dirt and moisture.

**Complete Shield**

Maximum level of rope protection against water and abrasion. It is reached by using the new progressive NANOTECHNOLOGY method. Tiny particles of TEFLON®Eco are applied to the rope sheath and core and make a film of almost impermeable protective layer. The rope fibres are then protected against dust and water which would othervise cause a harm to the rope construction. COMPLETE SHIELD is an impregnation which extends the general lifespan of TENDON ropes significantly. All ropes with the Complete Shield finish meet the UIAA 101 requirement for water repellent test.
