This sizing advice is based on two pairs of brand new shoes. Leather shoes tend to stretch more than synthetic shoes. When switching from synthetic to leather you may want to select a smaller size.

The Scarpa Instinct VS is built for serious climbers who need sensitivity and power in one shoe. Borrowing the best from the Instinct line, it’s got a snug Lorica upper that won’t stretch out and Vibram XS Edge rubber for sticky, long-lasting grip. The Bi-Tension system channels power to your toes, while the Velcro keeps you locked in for every hook and hold—ready for anything the rock throws your way.
