This sizing advice is based on two pairs of brand new shoes. Leather shoes tend to stretch
more than synthetic shoes. When switching from synthetic to leather you may want to select a smaller size.
The new Five Ten Crawe Women's shoe was designed in collaboration with Swiss bouldering legend Fred Nicole and is the perfect sport climbing shoe, excelling on steep, small, edges.
The Crawe has been constructed around adidas Primeknit upper that moulds to your feet giving it a sock-like feel, both breathable and comfortable, no more sweaty feet. The Crawe women's has a moderate downturn with a medium stiff flex and a pointy toe, that can grab the edges of small holds and give you all the power you need to drive through your feet. The toe box is concave for superb edging, and features a tensioned red band that prevents rolling and gives rebound after smearing. The toe rand is extended for comfortable and grippy toe hooks and the heel features a medial band for a secure fit and soft Stealth¨ HF rubber so you never pop off those heel hooks. The sole is Five Ten's tried and tested sticky Stealth C4 rubber so you can have confidence on even the most marginal of foot placements. Although this is a more advanced shoe, the split midsole makes it surprisingly comfortable allowing you to keep inching closer and closer to that redpoint all day.
