The Climbing Technology Lime Set NY Pro is a classic, high quality and extremely durable quickdraw at an incredible price-tag. Lightweight and hard-wearing, it is ideal for multiple uses from sport climbing to mountaineering. The “Lime” carabiners are small, compact, classic offset D shape krabs and weigh a very reasonable 41g per 'biner.
They are hot-forged from light alloy but are particularly robust and strong. Both feature a keylock gate with a pronounced catch-free nose that helps locate the rope in the right place to push it through the gate when using on sport routes for snag-free easy rope insertion and removal. The lower ‘biner has a bent gate for ease of clipping and preventing accidental release of the rope. The sling is robust variable width (25/ 16mm) polyamide with CT’s “Fixit” rubber fastener on the lower crab’ to prevent rotation and possible cross-loading and protecting the sling from wear and tear.
